Wpf mvvm listview not updating
Net 2.0 and 1.1, one of the controls that I really loved was the datagridview aka datagrid.
One of the most powerful features of the data grid was that if you wanted to; you could just specify an Items Source and the datagridview would create all the column for you.
I have developed a similar control to the Data Grid View that supports auto generation of columns by looking at the properties of the object that you push from the Items Source…
Auto generation of columns sometimes is to implicit.
Forms, really only the Tabbed Page, Master Detail Page, and Carousel seem to fit the bill for how to handle the main form of navigation.
The others are more concerned with navigation from summary to detail and can be used in conjunction with the previously mentioned three.
How wpf combobox works is it will listen to collection change event of the observable collection, and updates the UI.
When I add items or delete item from Main Categories Collection my List View get updated without any problem but when I take specific item and change the item property which represent "Display Member Path" I can`t see the change in the List View.embed=snippet 8255492] the setter is not supposed to fire when an item is added, since you collection is of type observable, it should update the UI.But said that there could be other things that could be wrong here, can you post you xaml ?In essence, the Tabbed Page, Master Detail Page, and Carousel are all representations of the same root data (a collection of pages, and a selected page) much like a List View or Picker control. That being said, I knew that once I settled on the Tabbed Page as the main UI navigation mechanic, that I’d have some users (one in particular) suggesting that they’d prefer something more akin to the Master Detail Page (which I had started with in Part 1).
